Modern Motor and Google DeepMind Lead the First Deployment: Atlas Humanoid Robot Officially Starts Working in Factories
Boston Dynamics announced at CES 2026 that its iconic humanoid robot Atlas has officially transitioned from a lab prototype to a commercial mass production stage. This fully electric robot, developed over more than a decade, has been upgraded to an enterprise-level high-strength version. The first batch will be deployed at shareholder Modern Motor and partner Google DeepMind. It is regarded as the most advanced industrial humanoid robot to date.
